How do I temporarily disable an employee account when their employment status is unclear?
If you wish to temporarily disable an employee’s account when their employment status is unclear to prevent any future transfers, click the “Disable” button under the Paygroups header. This button is in the employee’s individual profile in the DailyPay Portal. If you want to terminate an employee, please see How do I report an employee termination?
While this functionality does not cancel the employee’s DailyPay account, it is a helpful tool to prevent any further transfers. When any investigation or review period is complete, you can simply reactivate the account by clicking "Enable.”
Disabled — When the employee’s DailyPay account is disabled, they are unable to make any additional transfers. It will remain disabled until either you (the client) or DailyPay adjusts it.
Enabled — This is normal operation. An account should stay enabled under normal circumstances.
