How does my employee sign up for DailyPay?
If your employee has met all internal eligibility requirements (if applicable) and is signed up for direct deposit, they can sign up for DailyPay. Employees can sign up for DailyPay several ways.
If you have emails enabled, your employee will receive an email prompting them to sign up for DailyPay. From there, they will need to create a password and verify their identity.
Employees can also visit the DailyPay website directly to enroll. From there, your employee will go through the following steps:
- Start the enrollment process by going to account.dailypay.com/signup. They will sign up with an email address and password. Once they’ve completed this step, they can finish the enrollment process right away, or log in later to complete enrollment.

Your employee will be asked to provide some information so that we can find them in our system. This will include:
- Phone number
- Email address that their employer has on file
- Employee ID
- Please Note: Based on the information provided, we will look for an eligible employee in our system. Once we find an eligible employee closely matching the information provided, we will show the employee basic, obscured information so that they can confirm that we have associated their account to the right employee.

Once we find the employee in our system using the information they provided, we’ll verify their identity. Employees can verify their identity by:
- Receiving a code sent to the phone number provided by the employer
- Receiving a code sent to the email address provided by the employer
- Providing a government-issued photo ID
- Entering the last 4 digits of their primary bank account
In addition to the above methods, you can also use the guided enrollment option to help employees enroll in DailyPay. With guided enrollment, someone from your organization (manager, HR admin, etc), can assist an employee one-on-one by sending them a text message with a secure, expedited enrollment link.
