What is a Same Day ACH deposit? (ach_same_day)

A Same Day ACH payment is an expedited payment method, recently made available by the Federal Reserve, that enables funds to be received via ACH on the same day they are sent by the originator. 

In this context, when DailyPay sends funds as a Same Day ACH payment, they will post to the intended employee’s account on the same day. The exact timing will depend on when the receiving financial institution -- the employee’s bank -- chooses to process the payment and make it available to the account holder. DailyPay has no influence over when this happens; it is at the sole discretion of the receiving bank.
