Cycle for WEWA Clients
Cycle for ADP Wisely Earned Wage Access (WEWA) Clients
DailyPay’s Cycle feature is a digital payment tool that allows employers to efficiently send paperless off-cycle payments to employees.
For clients who are configured to support ADP Wisely Earned Wage Access (WEWA), an optional feature of the MyWisely application that gives users access to DailyPay’s On Demand Pay solution within their MyWisely application, please refer to this article on how to use DailyPay’s Cycle feature.
Given the partnership between DailyPay and ADP Wisely, WEWA clients are limited to specific use cases for Cycle depending on which category the user falls into.
1 WEWA users : eligible to receive Cycle payments for termination only
2 Non-WEWA users: eligible to receive any type of Cycle payment (Wisely cards must be portable)
Note: If you need to send non-termination off-cycle payments, such as payroll correction, bonuses, etc. to WEWA users, please discuss your options with your ADP representative.
WEWA users with an active ADP Wisely debit card
To send a Cycle termination payment to WEWA users with an active Wisely card, go to the Cycle send modal and select the user from the dropdown list. Once the user is selected, the Cycle reason will automatically populate as ‘termination’ and the account will be auto-selected to the user’s Wisely Pay Account. Once you fill in the payment amount and click next, you will be taken to a confirmation screen before submitting the payment.
WEWA users without an active ADP Wisely debit card
If you select a WEWA user in the Cycle send dropdown that does not have an active Wisely card, you will receive a warning message and will not be able to send any type of Cycle payment to the user. This configuration should be temporary, if it persists please contact DailyPay support.
Non-WEWA users
You will be able to send any type of Cycle payments to non-WEWA users. For Wisely cardholders who do not use WEWA, their card must be portable in order to receive a payment.
